What is AgenticRadar?

AgenticRadar by Radrly is a Shopify app that checks and improves how a store appears to AI shopping agents: Shopify Catalog readiness, native UCP checks, product data fixes and monitoring of AI answers.

Who it is for

AgenticRadar is for Shopify merchants and store operators who want their products to be read correctly by AI shopping agents and assistants. It runs inside the Shopify admin as an embedded app and works on the data the store already has.

The problem it solves

AI shopping agents do not browse a store the way people do. Shopify sends eligible products through Shopify Catalog to AI channels such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Google AI Mode and Gemini, and Meta, and every store exposes a native UCP profile and a catalog MCP endpoint that agents can query. Missing barcodes, thin descriptions, empty image alt text or unpublished shipping and return policies leave an agent with less to work with. AgenticRadar shows those gaps product by product and helps close them.

How it works

  1. Catalog readiness audit. Every product gets an AI channel score from 0 to 100 built from GTIN and brand, taxonomy and options, images and alt text, description and price, and shipping and returns. A score of 80 or more counts as ready.
  2. Native UCP checks. The app fetches the store profile at /.well-known/ucp and the catalog MCP at /api/ucp/mcp, and confirms that search_catalog, lookup_catalog and get_product answer.
  3. Product data fixes. One-click and bulk AI fixes fill descriptions, tags, product type, brand and image alt text. Barcodes and taxonomy stay merchant-entered, so the app never invents them.
  4. On-domain files and structured data. Optional agents.md and llms.txt on your own domain, and a theme app embed that adds Product, Offer, Organization and BreadcrumbList JSON-LD.
  5. Monitoring of AI answers. Saved shopper prompts run through official AI APIs, and the app records whether the answer mentions your store and which sites it cites.

What makes it different

  • It works with the agent endpoints Shopify already serves (Shopify Catalog, the UCP profile and the catalog MCP) instead of a separate feed.
  • Checks run against the live store, so the result shows what an agent actually receives.
  • AI answers are collected through official APIs only; assistant websites are not scraped.
  • Theme changes are opt in, and Restore Shopify default puts the managed agent files back.

Not the agentic-radar security scanner

The similarly named agentic-radar project by splx-ai is an open-source security scanner for LLM agentic workflows. It is unrelated to AgenticRadar by Radrly, which is a Shopify app for merchants and does not scan code or agent workflows.

Where to install it

AgenticRadar is installed from the Shopify App Store, where it is listed as AgenticRadar AI: apps.shopify.com/agenticradar-ai. Product guides are in the documentation.

Who makes it

AgenticRadar is built and operated by Radrly (Radrly sp. z o.o.), a software company based in Poland that builds Shopify and Atlassian apps.

Frequently asked questions

What is AgenticRadar?

AgenticRadar by Radrly is a Shopify app that checks and improves how a store appears to AI shopping agents: Shopify Catalog readiness, native UCP checks, product data fixes and monitoring of AI answers.

Is AgenticRadar the same as the agentic-radar security scanner?

No. agentic-radar is an open-source security scanner for LLM agentic workflows, published by splx-ai on GitHub. AgenticRadar by Radrly is a separate, unrelated Shopify app for merchants. It does not scan code or agent workflows.

Who is AgenticRadar for?

Shopify merchants and store operators who want products to be read correctly by AI shopping agents and assistants such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Google AI Mode and Gemini.

Who makes AgenticRadar?

AgenticRadar is built and operated by Radrly sp. z o.o., a software company based in Poland. On the Shopify App Store the app is listed as AgenticRadar AI.

Does AgenticRadar change my theme?

Only when you ask it to. Structured data comes from a theme app embed that you switch on in the theme editor. Publishing agents.md and llms.txt as theme templates needs the optional read_themes and write_themes permissions, which the app requests only when you choose to publish, and Restore Shopify default puts the managed files back. The audit, the UCP checks and AI answer monitoring do not edit your theme.

Which AI assistants does AgenticRadar monitor?

AI answer monitoring runs saved shopper prompts through official APIs and records whether the answer mentions your store and which sites it cites. Live checks use OpenAI (ChatGPT); Gemini and Perplexity connectors are built in and use their official APIs when enabled. AgenticRadar does not scrape assistant websites.

Where do I install AgenticRadar?
